we chase these days down with talks of the places that we will go.. [Monday, October 10th, 2005 at 12:09am]

last night (well two nights ago you could say)..
fall out boy. what a great night.
Read more...Collapse )

I left a little after 3:30 to pick up miss erin sulli. we got there about 2 hours early or so. the line was insanely long and just kept getting longer! it was unbelievable. and it was raining and unpleasant. eventually bella and everyone else came.. and after a while erin's friend let us cut her in line, so that very nice of her to do. when we got closer to where everyone was being checked, they made the guys seperate from the girls. one of the dudes asked me how far my lense came out, and I showed him how it only came out about an inch. LITTLE DID HE KNOW, I had like a 4 inch lense in my pocket, it's not in the camera. IDIOT! hah, thank god they didn't feel me down (haha) because they would have found it! I think throughout the confusion they forgot to.

finally once I got in, I waited around for the girls to get checked, and once they did.. we went out to the arena area. erin stayed behind because she was waiting for kara and her foreigner to get there. alyssa had to go to the bathroom so I went with her since no one else wanted to(!) and when she was in there, I noticed this kid dropped his poster. so I was staring at it for a while and contemplating whether or not I should pick it and run after him, or steal it (haha). I didn't want alyssa to come out right when I left to give it to him, but she was taking forever! so I ran after him but he was walking so fast! when I went back to the outside of the girl's bathroom, bella called me and told me that alyssa already went back!

all the bands in my opinion did an awsome job. panic! at the disco started off and they were just great live. I don't particularly like boys night out all that much but they were good too. MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK.. love. and the starting line! man they were super. during the song, bedroom talk, they started singing sugar we're going down and it was the funniest/weirdest/coolest thing.

then of course, fall out boy! throughout the whole time I was in the crowd/pitt and with every band I was moving up a few rows. by the time fall out boy came I was about 10 or so rows back I guess, and before I knew it I was right up front. there was so many crowd surfers, and I was up against people squished like sardines, but it's like none of that even mattered. no physical defects even phased me at all. it was all just about the music and being with the people in the crowd, dancing with them, singing along. I can't even explain it.. at all, it was just the best expirience.

after everything ended, and people were leaving, there's was like 36 million dollars on the ground and everyone was scrambling getting money, I found five dollars and some change, and a lot of cell phones were on the ground too. I was all alone for a huge portion of the show, and I couldn't find anyone. then people started calling me and at one point I was talking to two people, one on my phone and then one on alyssa's. I don't even know who I was talking to, haha.. I think one of them was thaeje. but whatever.

I didn't take any pictures, though, because the security dudes told me if I did I'd probably get murdered, so I gave one of the merch guys money and he took it for me, I wish I had pictures though. I'll probably look on the fall out boy community and if someone posts pictures I'll probably steal them and put them here. hah.

erin after the show!

kara was being so dumb at the end! she was yelling at random people and singing "my humps" by the black eyed peas. and then that made me want to sing so I did. and I guess the security people wouldn't let us back in because it was closing, so she was putting her face up against the glass making faces at a cop. tahaha. but kara's foreigner, nina, is very friendly.

erin's mom took forever to come but she finally did.

overall it was a dandy night.

we haven't been up here since you guys won the fucking world series.. [Saturday, May 7th, 2005 at 10:37am]
[ mood | okay ]

Condensed version of an entry as to not bore you.

Monday was the show, in Boston for hellogoodbye. In the end, Meaghan ended up coming with me, because Thaeje couldn’t go unless someone else went, so we asked Thaeje if Meaghan could go since we didn’t want to waste two tickets, and she said that was fine. Anyway, my Dad picked us up after school, but we drove to my house first because my uncle was going to come with us to help with directions and stuff. I had my ipod, and Meaghan had an adapter, so we were listening to armor for sleep, since Meaghan hadn’t listened to them before. While we were at my house, we were in my room looking at random crap, like old pictures, and my memory box and stuff. They were taking forever though, but then we eventually left at 3:00. The ride there seemed really fast, I think.. Seeing as I can’t remember it. We didn’t have any trouble getting there, though.

My dad dropped us off on a corner on Landsdown(sp) street. A little ways before that, we saw a little crowd of people, and we assumed that it must be the people for hgb. We decided that we weren’t going to wait in line just yet, because we were starving, so we set off to find mickey Ds. We walked down countless streets, but no luck.. None. It was so windy out that day, I was so cold, haha. After a while, we gave up and started calling people. Eventually, Meaghan called Lisa and Lisa gave us directions. When we came to the McDonalds we saw Bertucci’s right across the street. So after a moment of debating, we decided to go to Bertucci’s instead!

The lady sat us down, first mistakingly bringing us to a dirty table, and I think she thought that we were there as an item, haha. She left, came back, and we ordered our pizza. She was all, rahrahrah do you want the Bertucci’s special?! No, just a pizza, kthanks. It was SO good. Those rolls were really good too. Bertucci’s was fun.

We walked back to the Axis, and there was a lot more people in line waiting, so we quickly got in line..and then two minutes later there was a huge line behind it, it was weird. There were these two boys, across the street who had these signs reading, “free hugs” so girls, and guys, mind you, went up to him and started hugging him. Then when someone would come up to hug them, these two other girls would go over with THEIR sign which read, “my hugs are better than theirs,” or something. Then at the end, they all hugged each other, it was pretty cute.

Meaghan and I were talking about throw up, and other things, when they finally let us in. We scurried in and weren’t sure where to go, so we were going to stand on the side, where the stairs were, but we saw how these people were sitting on this table thing, and in the middle of it was this like, not pole but you know those things in school? Those cylinder things, except they are square. We sat behind them, and we had a bunch of room and stuff, it was pretty good. We had like the perfect view, because we were above everyone.

Hellogoodbye started off first. Hahaha, I don’t know if Meaghan noticed, or anyone else, but when Forrest was checking his mic, he was singing a song from Aladdin. That was cute. Hellogoodbye was incredible, so fun. I didn’t want them to leave. I loved Jesse on the drums, he’s so hardcore. All the songs they played were awesome, especially touchdown turnaround. Forrest took a silly string gun (I thought it was a water gun, haha), and started spraying everyone.

After hellogoodbye, Meaghan got off to go look for the hgb merch, because we couldn’t see it. She was gone for a little while, so I was getting scared that someone might take her spot so I like layed down on the table, hahaha. But this guy, and these two fucking cunts sat behind me. The reason I call them cunts is because they are wicked annoying, not because they sat there. Meaghan just said excuse me and came back. I swear, I wanted to punch them in the face and kill them, they must of used the word “like”, about 100 times. Word.

After hgb, armor for sleep played. They were okay, but didn’t compare to hellogoodbye. I liked the redhead, and ben (the lead singer). Finally, the all-american rejects played. Wow, I didn’t expect that. They sure know how to put on a show. They were great. You could tell that a lot of people just came to see them, everyone started moshing and everyone just went crazy..

After aar, Meaghan and I went over to the merch table again, and got all of our shit. I got a cute shirt that has a picture of Gordie (forrest’s new dog), and a shirt for bella (grind wit yo girl). Meaghan got a bunch of shirts too for herself and people. The merch dude (I forget his name) gave me some free pins and Meaghan went back to go get some but there was like a massacre of people there, so she just gave up.

We saw Erin, and her little gay friend Joe, and they got their shoes signed twice (by Tyson and Nick I think). We were going to go get stuff signed but 1.) we didn’t want to seem like teenyboppers. 2.) hellogoodbye wasn’t there, just the all-american rejects. 3.) you could tell they seemed upset by all the girls piling on top of them. They were like writing on their hands and stuff and making out with them. Some guys too, haha.

Meaghan tried to find some place to buy tickets for Thursday’s punchline show, but she couldn’t find any place, so we just went outside and stood/sat around for a while waiting for my mom. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, we saw Forrest running to the hgb van, carrying stuff to it. Then when he was walking back inside, Meaghan screamed, “you guys were pretty awesome.” haha, then he turned around and did a little head gesture thing. THEN, Ben from Armor for sleep walked by too. We went up to him and he signed our ticket stub. J

My mom called, and told us that she was less than two minutes away, so we decided to walk down to the street where my dad dropped us off. So we were dancing and singing like crazy, then all of a sudden we look to our left and see a huge bright light in our eyes, and we didn’t know what the hell it was. Then Meaghan told me to shut up, and I look over and I see some reporter dude for CBS! Hahaha, I think we were on the news. Then we walk (more like run) down a little, and watched him, trying to make out what his lips were saying but then we gave up and continued walking. Surely enough, we saw more reporter dudes. And like 6 trucks for stations like cbs, abc, nbc, fox, etc. I wonder what happened there, taha.

On the ride home, Meaghan and I were completely exhausted, so we semi drifted off to sleep. We realized that we didn’t have Meaghan’s books, so we stopped at my house first and got them, then dropped Meaghan off at her house. What a fun night that was. I went home, and I got my fall out boy CD and I put it on and was listening it til like 3:30 in the morning, haha.

Wednesday, I went to the carnival. I had a lot of fun there. I went with my cousin, michelle, and two other sophomore girls. I went on all the rides too! Except for the Apollo but it was broken, so yeah. Last night was my brother’s prom, so I might update later/tomorrow with his pictures from that.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, joy.
